Heard about it via the ATPB's thread...read like 3 paragraphs nearly blew a gasket and then realized the rest of the ppl on this site were pretty cool. I just read threads for a few months. According to my profile I was added to the site in July so I guess thats how I came to be on here.

Someone linked this site to the old Tidesports board from several years ago. I think I signed up that very day.

I found TD though, from a link on cbssports during the 2007 season, as I was previewing each team that season through links provided to team sites there. Lurked a couple of months, before joining in 2008 and having my first thread about Perriloux deleted.

This forum was also talked about on TigerForums. I don't even know if they still exist but they were a bunch of uptight frickers there. And I had to pay to post.

Sadly I must say that that abomination of a thread named ATPB brought me here, but it was when it was still somewhat sane and was still focusing on paying Cam Newton. Once they started communing with dead people and performing seyances and dark rituals I bailed the frick out.
But I am very glad that that thread happened because without it I would not have all the SECr friends that I have now.

I googled something about LSU (recruitment maybe? Honestly can't remember). I believe this was in the middle of summer of 2010.
A TD link popped up. I lurked until the end of August (or first part of September) and decided to join. Then my registration fiasco happened and I didn't get approved until Nov. 2010.
Then I was labeled an ATPB-er. Hell, NGT was mean as shite to me at first bc of my sign up date. It took him (and other posters) months to warm up to me and realize I was not a tinfoil hat wearing poster

I'm memorable! 
There really wasn't that many outside of Lsu and Bama fans when it started. I remember the SEC Rant check in thread having about 60 Bama fans, a dozen Au fans and a handful each of other fans. I also remember being on TD at 3 in the morning, and my name being first on the signed on list and only about 12 people total being signed on. Now there's thousands on at an given moment in time.

ETA: I actually got accused of trolling by LSUSteve earlier. It was funny because he came in the thread trolling and it ended up being him that was the one that got pissed off because I threw some logic at him.

I think I was trying to find a video of Les after one of his stupid coaching moves. Another Gator fan and I were arguing about how stupid he was. He said he was merely a bad gameday coach and I was arguing that a bag containing hammers would beat him in a match of wits.

I remember those days. There would normally be around 1000 posters, including lurkers on during the busy times. They listed everyone that was online. Those were the good old thread hijacking days.

I remember the first time I saw the IM thread. I was like "WTF is the IM thread? Is there a link to a chatroom somewhere in here? Wow, I think they're actually just chatting on in a thread. This has the be the stupidest thing I've seen on this site. This isn't IM, there's nothing instant about it. Oh well, I guess I'll do it anyway."
