It's pretty clear they're ashamed of their record versus their rivals and want to shirk that negative attention

what? texas has beaten us like 70 percent of the time that theyve played us. oh well. they would have a huge lead over like 95% of college football if they played them 100 times. i dont think youll find anyone that is ashamed over something that is what it is

again, a 100+ year old rivalry didn't die because you moved conferences and refuse to play each other anymore. y'all hate each other as much as any rivals in this conference do
