Mccaffrey had a better season and was more valuable to his team than Fournette and Henry. If he repeats next year he will deserve it. Again

1st - Henry beat the SEC rushing record with less carries than Hershel Walker had.

2nd - Henry had 4-200 yard SEC games which tied him with Hershel Walker and Bo Jackson SEC records.

3rd - Henry tying Tebow's SEC rushing record at 23 TD's. (Henry now owns that TD record by himself)

Top 3 reasons to why Henry won the Heisman and when you're beating or tying records with the likes of Hershel Walker, Bo Jackson, and Tebow. You've done something historic in CFB. Henry earned it!

The all around best player is McCaffrey

henry wasn't even the second best running back in the SEC i'd say he was 4th or 5th in the nation. but he was certainly the most hyped and had big games when the spotlight was on him.

his performance against michigan st wasn't any better than fournettes against bamas.. but he had already won the trophy held to less than 100 yards 5 times this season

Simple. He wasn't deserving.

Open your heart and let that Bama hate out, old man. You're gonna die soon. No need to spend your remaining days in bitterness.

Best to find peace now. Otherwise, you're gonna get to heaven and find that Pistol Pete is the Bear's lawn guy up there, setting yourself up for an afterlife of agony.

In such despair, you will wander "this can't be heaven."

But alas, an LSU fan through and through to the core of your soul, you may reach nirvana one day upon the realization: come heaven or hell, in this life or the next, the corndog sine qua non is eternal butthurt.

Why does disagreeing equal butt hurt? Lots of folks who aren't partial to bama now have actually watched Mccaffrey and think he's the best player in the country.

Well he won't be remembered for almost winning the Heisman so we all wish him luck next year.

You're disagreeing because you loathe Alabama....let's be honest here. I have no problem with you thinking someone else is better than a Bama player but quit trying to make it out like you have different motives.....we know how you LSU fans are very envious of the Alabama success and wish daddy Saban will come home one day.

doesn't change the fact that henry was an above-average SEC running back and not much more. i think ingram was much better than henry and i am by no means an ingram fan frick ingram

Oh look, another victimized gimp.

You really can't see beyond the state line. It has to be anti Alabama. No way could it be pro Mccaffrey

They think we can't see right through them. There may be a case for both, but if you switched Henry's and McCaffrey's stats, they would still value McCaffrey's more. This debate doesn't even exist in the real world, the consensus throughiut the country is Henry is more than deserving. It's only coming from the anti Alabama folks. It's delicious and hilarious

duh, what is the Heisman supposed to be?

Heisman is awarded to the most outstanding player in college football, not best all around player...

There's an award for best all around player, aka most versatile...it's called the Paul Hornung Award and McCaffrey was a most deserving winner of that award this year...

i mean if you looked at the stats.. Henry wouldn't have even be in the conversation -- that's the honest truth.

but most of the pro-mccafery talk on the rant is entirely anti-bama talk and nothing more

Henry has double the TD's than that white boy against far stiffer competition.

Genro is 100% correct, it's the Bama envy that drives you idiots and it's indeed hilarious.
