I wasn't gonna get involved here, but since something similar happened to me once, I will.
My fiancé at the time and I were sitting at the bar in a club listening to the band. He got up to go to the restroom. I felt someone tap my shoulder, so I turned around. When I did, a dude grabbed the back of my neck, pulled me to him, & tried to stick his tongue down my throat. Instinctively, I pulled away, kneed him in the nuts, then HIT, not slapped, him in the jaw. I also wasted a full beer on him as it ended up in his face.
My fiancé had not made it to the restroom yet, heard all the commotion & came running back. He finished the guy off outside. No cops involved, no charges filed, although the a-hole threatened my fiancé with them as he was lying on the ground with a bloody face at which time he got spat upon. End of story.
People who are old enough to go clubbing should know how to handle situations that go along with it on their own. As long as there is nothing more than a touch from an unwelcomed party, just kick his arse.
