HOLY MOLY, TWO PLAYERS IN ALL OF THE NBA?!?!

Damn, I had no idea A&M basketball was so dominant lol

shite, Texas had three one-and-done players in the last three years, and two of them are starting.

And that's not including all of the other NBA representation Texas has, including one particular NBA MVP, multiple Finals MVP and first-ballot hall-of-famer.

Argument fail. Try again.

Dumbass said we've never gotten to the sweet 16 without being annihilated. I guess a 1-point loss = annihilation now.

I guess I forgot that one. Or maybe I just wanted you to correct me to show me how cool A&M's famous losses are

Yes, your argument that no top players will ever come to A&M did indeed fail.

Shaka's first year = 6-seed in tournament.

Not good enough and Texas fans want him gone.

Buzz's first year = will not qualify for NIT.

Texas A&M fans can't be more happy about his presence in the program.

You continue to make my own arguments for me.

Thank you for showing me that no recruits ranked higher than No. 30 overall have ever come to A&M, at least in recent history, and that almost all of them that were remotely high ranked turned out to be complete duds.

Not even remotely the same situation.

Smart took over a program that had made the NCAA Tournament 16 of its last 17 years (including the year before he took over, where they won 20 games).

He has come pretty close to running it into the ground.

Buzz Williams took over a program that Billy Kennedy quite literally ran into the ground. A&M had missed the tournament 6 of the previous 8 seasons and had a losing record the year prior to him taking over. The program can't possibly get worse than it was before Buzz took over.

This may or may not be the case, idk. But he really does look like shite. He looks like he’s in his mid 60s and has a had a hard life.

And yet that guy is still responsible for the greatest ever basketball era in Texas A&M history

Billy Gillispie won 80 games in 3 seasons. Mark Turgeon won over 100 in 4 seasons. Between the two of them, they made the tournament 6 times, the NIT once, and won 8 postseason games, that was the greatest era in A&M basketball history.

Kennedy didn't make the dance until year 5 and only made it twice in 8 seasons. Billy Kennedy for his career has only made the tournament 4 times. Including this season, Buzz Williams has missed the tournament 4 times.
