Not this shite again.

2X BCS National champion (2007,2009)
2X 1st Team All American (2007, 2008)
1X 2nd Team All American (2009)
3X 1st Team All SEC (2007, 08, 09)
AP Player of the Year 2007
Davey O'Brien Award 2007
2X Maxwell Award winner (2007, 2008)
Heisman Trophy 2007
NCAA QB of the year 2007
Manning Award 2008
William V. Campbell Trophy 2009

When Cam can lay claim to this body of work in the NCAA then I'll listen to claims of who's better.

Percy Harvin, Louis Murphy, Andre Caldwell, and Aaron Hernandez shite on Auburns WR.

Cam doesnt have nearly the supporting cast Tebow ever had.

I guess that's a mediocre team, not comparable to Auburn. We did lose several games that year, but let's not take it too far here.

I can see the dividing line now.

On the side of cam newton--auburn fans and football fans

on the side of tebow--very adamant uf fans.

If somehow I could pick a player to add to my team and Tebow and Newton both had 2 years of eligibilty left, I would take Cam (assuming he doesn't cost $200,000 of course)

All West teams... ask Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina what they think about Tebow

Where is the Great RB or just an average one. The reason Bama shut you down, was because they shut TT down, FL had nobody else to turn to.

I think Auburn's offense is better than what FL had during the TT years.

At the peak in 2008, UF demolished some good teams.
UF 38 - Ark 7
UF 51 - LSU 21
UF 63 - UK 7
UF 49 - UGA 10
UF 42 - Vandy 14
UF 56 - USC 6
UF 70 - Citadel 19
UF 45 - FSU 15
UF 31 - Bama 20
UF 24 - OU 14

I think Auburn is good, but UF's offense in 2008, specifically after the Ole Miss game, was dominate.

I don't think you can compare Newton and Tebow at this point. We are talking about a very small frame of reference for Newton compared to a career for Tebow. What if Newton doesn't win a championship?

Auburn's offense this year has not produced similar results.
AU 17 - MSU 14
AU 27 - Clemson 24
AU 35 - USC 27
AU 37 - UK 34
AU 65 - Ark 43
AU 24 - LSU 17
AU 51 - Ole Miss 31
AU 61 - Chat 24

Don`t forget to mention UF`s sick defense. And quit trying to compare stats. You can cherry pick whatever you want to prove a point.

-Cam is surrounded by a lot less talent.
-UF`s defense forced an incredible amount of turnovers and 3 n outs give tebow a lot more possessions.

*Tebow was awesome, but there are few players I enjoy watching as much as cam.

I am not taking anything away from Auburn or Cam. I was just responding to the guy talking about a comparison of the offenses. UF's offense was lethal and just as dominate as the defense, and yes there were playmakers all over the field, but that takes nothing away from what Tebow accomplished.

Cam Newton is 100% better than tim tebow. And he's also way more fun to watch and less aggravating. Tebow had 4 years to pile up stats and awards along with some insane defensive talent and Percy Harvin. And if Newton wins this year then theyre essentially tied in national championships. Don't throw out 2006 tebow was a role player at best that year

Running the ball, yes. That is about it though. Tebow accounted for 3,286 passing yards and 895 rushing yards in 2007. He also had 55 total TD's. Cam won't even sniff numbers like that.

And what if he doesn't win? Going to be hard to compare a guy with no hardware to someone who has won every award and championship imaginable.
