How can the NCAA make LSU vacate games?

They don't even decide who the champion is so how can they make you vacate games is crazy.

They are the enforcement arm of college athletics.
I have always thought if you are found to be getting a competitive advantage by cheating..............you should vacate all wins.

Yes an Auburn booster paid Cam Newton's dad for him to play at Auburn he was suspended during the season.

They had proof Cecil asked.
There was no proof he ever got paid and no proof that Cam knew anything about the scheme.
NCAA made a rule after the fact to prohibit player's rep from asking for money.

There won't be any wins vacated. I don't care if every administrator sues the other and they all turn against LSU. Come September, LSU will be playing football with O as the coach.
Defensed is stacked. Whole o line and starting rb's return. LSU is gonna be filthy on the d line. Realism will begin to set in for the SEC by the time October 1 rolls around.

The majority of this great country doesn’t like LSU or it’s fans.
That gives the NCAA more wiggle room to drop the hammer.
It may not be completely fair, but then again, play stupid games - win stupid prizes.
No one should feel bad for LSU.
