How CAN A&M beat Bama?

Alabama has two weaknesses, and the first one seems to be at Special Teams. For whatever reason, Nick can recruit 8 Pound Baby Jesus himself but he can't get himself a kicker to save his life.
So, how does A&M use this? Compress the field. Unfortunately while the Ags have finally shored up the run defense our vulnerability to the long ball has seemingly escalated. If Elko's Bend Don't Break defense can stall out Alabama we can hang. I think the pass rush for the Aggies can make Tua move more in the pocket than he likes and maybe he sails a few that he might normally make. Stall them out and force the FG attempts
The second weakness for Alabama seems to be the secondary's exposure to the deep ball. Maybe in this instance Mond can use his own athleticism and make things happen downfield by elongating the plays. Aggies have to have a competent running attack forcing the safety to play closer to the LOS.
This all is predicated that we can really hold Bama's rushing attack in check and not let them rip off long runs at will.
Your best bet is to get them behind schedule and press Tua. It's certainly not foolproof but it seems the best chance.
Easier said than done but the team has absolutely nothing to lose as just about everyone will pick Alabama to roll and everything to gain. The talent level is there. The chip on the shoulder will be there. Those are dangerous teams to contend with.

bama has to make a bunch of mistakes and A&M must play mistake-free football.
Aggy is too sloppy right now to pull off the win.

A&M will keep it close for a quarter

Yep you have to force tos and hold bama to fgs in red zone

Alabama doesn't spend much time in the Red Zone. Usually the amount of time it takes Jeudy, Smith, or Ruggs to sprint the 20 yards from the 20 to the goal line.

Bama is going to destroy AM as they destroyed Clemson.

If A&M can consistently block the front four causing Bama to send extra rushers then Mond will have opportunities down the field when he extends plays with his legs.
That and about 3 Bama turnovers can keep this game close.

Hate to say it but this may be Saban’s best team. Obviously time will tell but I don’t see any situation A&M can beat Alabama unless they turn the ball over 4+ times and A&M plays flawless on their end. I don’t see this game being close at halftime

1) Hope Bama has 3+ turnovers
2) Grind the clock somehow with longer drives
3) Attack down the field, you have to create big plays, and multiple of them, to beat bama
4) Make ZERO mistakes, and several amazing plays

Can't. It's that simple. Don't have the depth, and injuries at LB, and a terrible secondary will do us in

And then Bama will win. After the game life will go on and Am fans will live. In other serious matters, people in the Carolinas will still be picking up the pieces from Hurricane Florence, which is more important than a silly football game.

Can't is also a good answer

Ole Miss had 133 yards passing, 75 of it on 1 play, and they may be the best deep ball passing team in the SEC. I feel pretty good about our defense of the deep ball.

I feel like this will be Bama/Ole Miss 2.0. Sorry Ags, I'd love to see someone give Bama a big fat L as much as the next guy, but I don't see it happening this weekend.
Bama is a much better squad than Clemson is this year.

granted the window of opportunity for exposing the DBs seems to have closed a bit with the handling of the Rebs' receivers. And they will gel as the season progresses.
But there's still a chance, damn it!

This is the key. You have to have an elite defense, good special teams, and a good enough offense to not turn it over and get a first down here and there. That being said, I don't think A&M has a good enough defense to beat Bama.

I think they actually have a 3rd weakness:
penalties.
They don't seem to be a typical Saban disciplined team.
They are currently 95th in penalties per game.

Take this shite to the disaster relief forum, you sanctimonious, fun-killing dweeb.
We are here to talk football.

Auburn has to find a way to win 9 games.

A&M has some that Saban hates...A mobile QB. That has always been the soft spot for Saban.
If you can Get Alabama's defense to take 80+ defensive snaps, you have a chance. If your offense is in the 60 snaps range put a fork in it.
Don't rely on catching jump balls and tip balls to bail you out. Tempo Tempo Tempo...
