I'm gonna guess that since sanberg quoted the OP's username in his post, he assumed he was talking about the name Dick Burleson

I'm not surprised the simpletons have not taken notice

Either way It's Rueben Randle.

And? He beat you guys last year on a strike to Randle...

What makes you think a year and a new OC later, they can't do it again?

Yeah, really. We've lost one game in BDS in the past 3 years, and we really shouldn't have even lost that one.

If I remember correctly diddnt he gain most of that on a busted pass play?
exactly

No. Over half his yards were on the slant for a touchdown, not a busted play.

We've won one and lost one there..and though it's a tough place to play, it's not on the level of crowd noise difference that takes place at UF(during a good season) or at LSU

I'm not worried

Okay, that's cool and all, but our home record tells you all you need to know.

I wouldn't feel confident at all in this game if I was an LSU fan.

LSU has a winning record there over the last 20 years, including an impressive 4-1 record at Bryant-Deeny the last 10 years..what was that about Bama being a tough place to play?

Well you're not an LSU fan, so i can see where your lack of confidence comes from

Yes, since all of the last 20 years are relevant to the current state of our program. Dont be dense.

This makes zero sense.

An ALABAMA fan saying the past doesn't matter now? There's a gem

This makes zero sense.

It makes sense that we have more confidence this year than anyone else considering we return the most talented, most experienced team in the SEC? Zero sense?

Maybe YOU make zero sense..ever thought of that?

I remember LSU fans calling Crowton "the wizard" just a few years ago.

He was. He just digresses at every school he coaches.

I said:

and you replied with:

Please, explain to me how your reply makes sense.

As far as this goes...

we return the most talented, most experienced team in the SEC? Zero sense?

No you dont. You lost most of your big playmakers on defense, and you still have the same anemic offense that you had last year.

Good god, you make this difficult..

You said: I wouldn't be confident if I was an LSU fan

I said: You're not an LSU fan..LSU fans are confident going into this game

It's pretty easy to understand

quote:

You lost most of your big playmakers on defense

CB? Peterson wasn't even the top corner last year...LB? Sheppard wasn't the leading tackler..everybody returns from the line last year except Nevis.

And our "anemic" offense was good enough to beat your vaunted saban defense, even with one of the worst ranked offenses in the COUNTRY

You are out of your element here, bammer

Partially. Technically, it was special teams that broke the game for Lsu, not the offense or regular defense. Bama was leading until that ST's trick play turned the game.

LOL um okay?

yeah, like I said, your 3 biggest playmakers on the team are GONE.

Vaunted? We had to replace almost the whole defense coming off of a NC season.

Congrats on that. They wont be good enough this year, take that to the bank.

keep telling yourself that, kid.

Yeah, like I said, you have Dain Bramage

Our top corner last year was Mo Claiborne, our top tackler was Ryan Baker..Both return and have viable backups...So your argument about losing our top players is just a load of BS..

So what is going to so drastically change about your secondary this year? We'll still move the football on you

I don't think i'll take anything a bammer tells me "to the bank" thank you very much..
