I'm conflicted in this case.
On the one hand, I'm ready for TAMU to lose again so PERHAPS some of the texags trolls will go away from here. You regular aggie posters are for the most part fine, but some of the newguys are pretty bad.
But on the other hand, if LaTech wins, MOST of the Razorback boards will have savants and folks 'with sources in the BOT' who will anoint S. Dykes as our next HC, and I don't think I'd be able to stand the resulting clash between the Grudenites and the Dykes-supporters. The Grudenites on our boards are small in numbers, but passionate, committed, and a bit crazy(probably the way the aggies were before they allowed women into the school.)
I guess I'll go with TAMU by 10-14 in a high-scoring game. Guess that means will have more 'Branding iron 13-0'-type dipshits around here.

Sorry about that. It's not like we invited the texags trolls...they just have a bad habit of infecting other sites.

Tech win or lose, Dykes is definitely on the short list for consideration of HC at Arkansas. I hope he will hold out and wait for a vacancy at Texas Tech. I believe he would prefer to move back to Lubbock anyway, so maybe we keep him for at 1 more year??

We probably shouldn't even show up for this game... I'm not sure we've ever beaten La. Tech. I think I can say without hyperbole that this game will be a trillion times harder than the toughest game we've ever played in.

State thought they would steamroll Tech last year and got taken to overtime
Tech beat the living shite out of Ole Miss last year, but who didn't really
Tech will beat A&M by a field goal on Saturday in front of what will basically be a home field crowd in Shreveport
Any Aggie fans that want to have some fun, shoot me an email @ my handle @ gmail.com

...la tech will not hang 50 on the Ags.
racking up 50 on the sisters of the poor does not equate to racking up 50 on the aggies.
dream on conference usa'ers.
Aggies 38
La Tech 27

I wouldn't fear the Texager invasion after La Tech. The real fear should be if somehow A&M beats LSU. If that happens I could see at least a dozen Rant posters committing Hari Kari because some Ags will become so unbearable.
Anything can happen at night in Louisiana that is for sure. Still, the big key to that working would be sneaking up on A&M which isn't happening. La Tech is ranked and A&M got the scared straight last week at Ole Miss. About the only thing going for La Tech is we have a combination of some injuries and suspensions in the secondary that are a real concern.
Analytically La Tech has a solid offense and can score a lot of points. Problem is they don't have a lot of great athletes but rather a great system. The same system A&M runs almost identically. It's not like A&M's D is going to be taken by surprise by the Spread/Air Raid/Hurry up, that's what they have been practicing against since the day Sumlin got on campus. The Aggie D has really 2 big strengths. One is they are able to get pressure on the QB without blitzing and second they rarely give up big plays. That puts a lot of pressure on the La Tech offense to produce. Remember that Ole Miss scored the most points so far on A&M with 27 but they also had 6 turnovers given to them. Expecting La Tech to score more than that seems like a stretch.
The real mismatch though is the Aggie O vs the La Tech D. Literally the only chance they have here is is A&M shoots itself in the foot repeatedly. They are horrific and A&M is loaded with athletes that can stress a good defense.
Unless there are a lot of Aggie turnovers this one could get ugly. I'm going with 55-24 though as a realistic score.

SECr-ers keep setting themselves up for disappointment. Maybe that's why y'all hate us so much? Sounds like y'all are from the BigXII to me

Yep....I expected more intelligent football discussion among fans on this board than you get from "aggy"-hating horns/bears/raiders, but I guess I was wrong.
What these folks are saying is that a team that blew out Arkansas is going to lose to a WAC team whose beaten NO ONE and has one of the worst D's in the country. They're saying that the so called #3 Gators beat a team by 3 points that is about to lose to said team. Not very positive for the SEC if we do somehow lose, but hey.

La tech is the 2nd worse defense in FBS. A&M wins this one going away.
The following week, LSU pulls out a close one in CS.

I'm pulling for the aggies in this game because yall hopefully won't embarrass the SEC like arkansas did losing to ULM. What conference is la tech in anyway? the sun belt or some shite?
Although I can't lie and say I wouldn't
if yall did lose.

If ags cant pass against ole miss secondary.. you won't have the best passing offense all year

La Tech's center runs their offense. Weird.

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
La Tech will get curb stomped. 2nd worst defense in the country. We'll stop them enough.
You little hens just worry about not getting smashed by LSU.

Also, when is the last time LSU has been the 3rd best team in Louisiana?
