Just a few years ago, we were running through the SEC then McLemore went down and so did the rest of the season. Might as well enjoy the ride while it’s happening.

Pearl has only made it past the Sweet 16 twice in his career and both times it was with underdog teams.
In 2019 they were a 5 seed that tied for 4th in the conference. They upset Kansas and UNC on their way to the final 4.
In 2010 Bruce took a 6 seed Tennessee to the Elite 8 by upsetting Ohio St. That team finished 3rd in the east before the tourney.
Bruce needs to be an underdog. Every time he’s been in the top 2 in the conference he’s been knocked out in the round of 32 or 16.
Go to his coaching record.
