I stand corrected. The number of "71K" stuck in my head, no doubt from UK's planned renovation.

It's incredible how much it has improved in the last few years. And I laugh at the people that were actually pissed about Alleva wanting to clean up TS.

There's always a faction of people that will bitch about stadium expansions/renovations.

And TS is gonna look awesome, btw. :fricklsuyaddayadda: , but I really look forward to visiting one day

Hopefully A&M will be playing here at night sometime soon. You wouldn't be disappointed in the atmosphere, I'll say that much.

I hope to visit Kyle for a game soon, as well. Perhaps this year. I saw it a few years ago on a college tour, but obviously it wasn't a game day. When I got close to Kyle on the highway, my first thought was that it looked like it would have been a great stadium for the USSR.

Soviet Bloc architecture is an enduring Aggie tradition

Glad we're finally getting a facelift. I'm hoping to make a game there this year, as well.

Our major facelift was to the north endzone exterior, which looked like this:

Some people didn't want it to change because it looked more "intimidating" that way.

Now we have this:

& the second picture Jefferson Davis uploaded isn't even the most recent (I'm sure he is aware btw). They took down the chain link fence, added a whole new student entrance with columns/pillars and have redone the concrete/brick work around the stadium.

This is a good before/after picture for comparison's sake:

And here's a bird's eye view of the west side plaza showing the parking situation. You can just see the Mississippi River all the way in the background.

TOG, do you know when we plan to close that entire street and brick it over? Would be awesome if they could take down the pmac ramps too

That's on hold. It will be a few years and a couple of parking garages built before that happens.
