I kind of figured it wasn't Gundy's fault he didn't have the funds needed to be competitive with OSU's competition, the other Big XII schools.

Successful NIL schools are going the General Manager route so the coach doesn't get bogged down in the business end.

OKST has the funding to be competitive in the Big12. It just isn't "Pickens money".

Nah I rather have Petrino with a heavy war chest and a new DC.

I mean why not? It isn't like Arkansas is going to get anyone else to come to Fayetteville.

We should have done that when Bobby was fired. Just hire Petrino back if we can't do better than that.

The list is going to small for Arkansas.

Beggers can't be choosers.

Then Arkansas should not have fired Pittman.

We don't have the competency of anyone at Arkansas to make any good hires.

It makes it worse that the prestige of the program is so bad.

I don't disagree.

He should have been fired two years ago.

He admitted himself that his seat was hot going back to 2022.

“ Three-Year Total: Coach Mike Gundy stated that Oklahoma State spent approximately $7 million on its football NIL program from 2022 to 2024”

SEC teams spent an average of $13 million per season over that time frame. Oklahoma State spent $2.5 million per season.

A starting Oklahoma State offensive lineman looking to transfer was shocked when he found out a 2nd team guard at Arkansas was being paid more than him.

I didn't say OKST spent it. I said OKST has the resources.

A major issue in Gundy's demise was his refusal to use NIL. Money was there that he didn't spend.
