FIFY... and honestly that only CEO and saban right now. Since they are the only two SEC HCs to win an National Championship AS A HEAD COACH FOR AN SEC TEAM. Yes, that last part is yelling because I don't give a damn what jimbo did at FSU. This is the SEC!

Yep.... since getting the head coaching job, CEO has LSU at 9-2 against teams in the SECE. Not bad and can't wait for the new season to get started!

Not only that but Ed O has beaten the SEC East Division winner in 2018, 2019, 2020.

As obviously, the SEC East is the weak red-headed step sister of the much tougher SEC West.

Which is why UGA is always ranked preseason so high. It's because UGA is the presumptive winner because the SEC East is virtually as piss poor as the ACC. I mean, there is Florida and then no one else. Hence, UGA usually gets a free pass to the SEC title game, like Clemson gets a free pass to the CFP.

However, the UGA Bullfrogs almost always loses unless it gets lucky, like in 2017 when UGA beat a completely decimated by injuries Auburn team, which had previously cold-cocked UGA in the final game of the season.

Meanwhile, that enabled UGA to make the national title game against the second place finisher in the SEC West. Where UGA lost the national title to the second-place finisher in the SEC West and in which was also previously defeated by Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Then also in 2017, LSU was the only team in the SEC to beat Auburn when they were at full strength. Hence, that means at most, the SEC Champion UGA bullfrogs were only the fourth best team in the SEC that season.

Meanwhile, that 2017 season is what all the UGA fans hang their hats on when they praise that joke of a head coach they have that has squandered away more elite talent with nothing to show for it than any other coach in the SEC or the country.

Because the next "nick saban" was supposedly hired when Kirby went to UGA

Why did you think Kirby was going to be the "Next Nick Saban."? We were not expecting that, it seems odd you were.

The start of every season is a fairy tale when you think UGA and UF football.

LSU fans were proclaiming "back-to-back National Titles before last season, so you tell me....who had a fairy tail season?

And yet one of those East losses was to...wait for it...

MISSOURI

a team that nearly all agree shouldn't even be in the SEC!

LSU was ranked #6 preseason last year. Who gets ranked too high preseason then fails?

In 2019 UGA was ranked #4 preseason and finished #5. Seems we finish pretty good compared to where we start.. LSU? not so much.

I mean neither team does badly...and congratulations on catching lightening in a bottle with that rent a OC.
