that's a good example of what "empathy" and "compassion" get you. A shite football coach.

Of the 9 head coaches he's hired since coming here at least 5 of them have a losing record in SEC play in their respective sport.

Wow, this Stricklin sounds like a mental giant who should be involved in every important decision involving UF. Lolz

Being "nice" as a head football coach is very likely a detriment. I think it was for Richt in the long run.

Almost all of the great ones were pricks or no nonsense types in some form or fashion. I like Napier a lot as a person, but that shouldn't really matter when we're talking brass tacks here. He was hired to win football games, and he's failing hard at that task.

Cant believe this POS still has a job but of course UF still doesn't have a president after about 2 years

How about Donald Trump?

Wtf..We need coaches with big egis like Sourrier and Meyer..not nice guys. Nice guys finish last.
NO… we need a coach with big boy college football experience as a head coach. After Urban Meyer it’s been hiring guys who never coached at a premier school. Basically hiring guys with no power 4 head coach experience. It’s asinine. You don’t hire assistants or guys coaching Div II. Napier even sounds dumb. Him and Stricklin need to both go.
