Our top backs have outrushed Georgia's backs by a couple thousand while we fall several hundred shy of Auburn......."supposedly" the top 2 rushing schools. Any other asinine comments you want to throw out?:
Arkansas
4590 Darren McFadden (785 rushes, 5.8 per, 41 TD)
3570 Ben Cowins (635 rushes, 5.6 per, 30 TD)
3317 Dickey Morton (595 rushes, 5.5 per, 16 TD)
3018 Cedric Cobbs (589 rushes, 5.1 per, 26 TD)
2956 Felix Jones (386 rushes, 7.6 per, 20 TD)
Auburn
4303 Bo Jackson (650 rushes, 6.62 per 43 TD's)

2,668 Rodney Hampton (472 carries. 5.6 per, ? TD's)
2,646 Thomas Brown (529 carries, 5.0 per, ? TD's
You notice that Auburn and Ga'guys had productive NFL careers. MCFadden should have a good career. Jnes may never bea every down back per say but may have decent career. LSU has Steve Van Bren,Jim Taylor.Billy Cannon,Earl Gros,Terry Robiskie,Charles Alexander,Dalton Hilliard,Gary James,Rondell Mealy,Kevin Faulk,Cecil Collins,Dominic Davis,Le Brandon Toefield, Johnny Robinson, and Hiesman runner up Jerry Stovall.UT has had plent of heralded backs too!

My honest opinion is that I could care less about what happened between Nutt and Arkansas. As you guys have said countless times, he's our "problem" now. And what he has done here in the past year, i'm perfectly fine with.
In his first year we finished with a 9-4 record, beat some big name teams, had a few crappy losses early on(gonna happen in a coaching change, free pass this time), and ended up signing some talent to fill holes on our team.
So far he hasn't screwed us.......so far.

Oh...little OM fans...go back to your kumbaya parties worshiping your pre-season ranking...The SEC will put those hopes to an end...

and Petrino hasn't screwed Arkansas yet!

Our baboon won 5 games with youngest team in America.
Our baboon has won a conference. Save the "Big East" crap. He had Big East talent.
Our baboon is actually offered jobs every year. He doesn't just use every job opening as bait for his agent to up his yearly supply of bananas.
Our baboon was offered an NFL job. He hated it and left but that's irrelevant. Your monkey will never be considered for that.
Our baboon is considered one of the top offensive minds in all of football.
Your monkey is known for his ability to master a pulpit, have textual relations with anchorwomen 30 minutes before the kick-off of the Capital One Bowl while top in-state recruits claim to choose other schools because of not even getting a single text, and your monkey is also known for toting around a pack of crayons and a Big Chief tablet in preparation for that weeks gameplan.

Hold up Bert, princess, sweet cheeks.
You said "their college careers were at the bottom of the SEC".
To the contrary, I just gave you statistical evidence that says the exact opposite.
You were wrong about something you said. Move along......

And you said all you needed was a monkey. Dam boy you got rid of one.

You said Hogs had history of good running backs. I don't think ya'll have had as many as most SEC teams. Auburn and Georgia have both had more good backs than you have listed.Auburn has Tucker Fredrickson,Micky Zofko,Ronnie Brown,Brandon Jacobs, and the lit goes on.

Bert if you are saying we haven't had great NFL backs, sure, fine, whatever.
But if you are talking about college production, only Auburn has a top 5 with more yardage than Arkansas, and that's by a margin of a few hundred yards. Our backs meet or surpass the career rushing totals of the best teams in the SEC.
That isn't up for debate. You can name all the players that give you warm fuzzies but their stats are at best on par with the best schools, one of which being Arkansas.
I challenge you to find a top 5, 10, or 15 from any school in the SEC (the auburn top 5 has 383 more yards than Arkansas) that surpasses the career yardage of the top 5, 10, or 15 from Arkansas. It will take research but in doing so you will learn something.

Nice job Alabama Slim. You just made this a place for Arkansas fans to bitch and moan. The Arkansas fans are single handedly destroying this board. They can't bear to talk about anything other than Ole Miss and Houston Nutt. I'm getting pretty fricking sick of it.
Posted on 5/6/09 at 5:37 pm to OMLandshark
I think you are wrong.
I think we love to talk about anything but Nutt but keep hearing the nauseating BS from Old Piss fans about how he is the Golden God of All-Mankind and we feel forced to intercede.
Like the show Intervention. We are just looking at Old Piss saying "Dear child, it's starts out as coke and titties at a party but it evolves into crack and a homeless penis in your mouth.".

It's hard to "save the big east crap". It's the freaking big east. Had he won a basketball conference championship...that would be impressive.

This is complete and utter horseshite. Most of the Arkansas fans on here (not all, but most) get no greater satisfaction than posting anti-Nutt sentiment every chance they get. Do you see us starting Petrino threads every five minutes? Be happy with that douche of a coach that you now have and move on with your life.

Even though he and all these tards with preconceived notions about Nutt and lofty expectations are off base. Nutt has never been preseason ranked in the top 10 or 15 by the media during his career @ UPIG. His expectations are higher going into 2009 with Ole Miss than they have ever been at Arkansas.
Why does everyone say "Nutt always fails when expectations are high"?
Can anyone answer this??? When has Nutt failed in the face of top 10 or top 15 expectations? The answer is never because it has never happened.

You couldn't get Petrino. You got the biggest set of man boobs this side of an east coast water park with a football mind only rivaled by that of a retarded mule.
Posted on 5/6/09 at 7:20 pm to woopiginaustin
Now he is a tard mule? Dam boy what next? Nutt has a better chance of succeeding at Ole Miss because we support him. It's kinda hard for the man to do his job if the piglets of the Ark National Sty are going whole hog dissing him in public. Ya got to be a team player for things to work right.

Went against Big East coaching too. SEC coaches > Big East Coaches.
The other points stand fine. Your baboon has hype, which is awesome. Now let's see him deliver on the hype in the SEC. (I actually expect him too fwiw)

FAIL AGAIN form the Ole Miss Failful
They called his agent and his agent told them that the door to Auburn all but closed 3 years ago. Then we proceeded to add an 8 million residual buy- out clause to Mr. Petrino's contract giving us more of a commitment. We're married.
