Houston Nutt or Dan Mullen, who is the better head coach?

Nutt has over and underachieved at Arkansas and has won at Ole Miss with Ed Orgeron's recruits. Mullen turned Mississippi State's offense into one of the worst in America to one of the top rushing attacks in the nation.
Let me know who you think is the better HC and who has the better future at their perspective schools.

Mullen's only coached one season as a head coach. We wont know until a few more years but I think he will be better and more consistent than the Nutt.

I have a good friend from Lafayette that is MSU alumni and he is all excited about Mullen. They are on the way up, but who knows how high the ladder goes?

Mullen is better, unfortunately he's not gonna pass LSU, Bama, Auburn or Arkansas

As a Mississippi State Alum and diehard football fan I think that most of the fan base wants a program that is competitive year in and year out and wins from 6 to 9 games and goes bowling. Most state fans are realistic and know that we will never win a national championship but we want to be a tough team year in and year out.

i think state can make a bowl every year from here on out with mullen. then later on prob start making runs at the sec west every 4-6 years when things line up right

I think that goal is very attainable with Mullen. good luck and look forward to the competition. That being said, we were lucky to beat ya'll in Starkville this yr.

You state fans sure are cocky after an egg bowl win and a 5-7 season. I'm sorry to say that neither mississippi will ever be a consistent contender.. Both can play competive ball and challenge for a division every now and again. Mullens probably going to be a good coach but I like who we got as well. He didn't lose that game yesterday, our players did. State came to play, we thought we had it won when we got off the bus. Obviously we were wrong.

Mullen easily. How is this even being questioned? Mullen coached a Heisman winner, Nutt will never do that!

I have never liked Nutt, so Mullen is the obvious choice for me
