The only thing that makes sense here is that the new HC has already been offered and accepted the job (makes me think of Leach).
Having a lame duck AD would be a major handicap for the coaching search, and I dont think that even we are this dumb. But of course, WAOM.
Maybe Rebelgator is onto something.....

Just to clarify.....you're asking OM fans if we'd want a former LSU player to head our coaching search.
And Archie Manning is one of the most well-connected individuals in football.
