Nobody's mentioning him for O's replacement.

Hear me out.

He took over for O at Ole Miss and for 2 years was pretty dang good. He took all the talent scattered from O's recruiting and put together a hell of a defense in 2008.

Now this is not a long term fix, but hire him, for a year while you can get the long term guy figured out.

He was the only Arkansas coach to win multiple division championships, and the last one to do it.

1 year... All he is asking for.

It’s been 50 years. Back to Back Cotton Bowl winner.

Don’t think that works at LSU

I don’t know that it was scattered. He had two first round draft picks and close to a dozen players who started on an NFL roster at some point. And only won 9 games

Well O couldn't piece it together!

Hey you have to look at the year to year improvement though.

0-8 in the sec to 5-3. I think LSU takes that increase right?

He absolutely would win at LSU.

He won at Ole Miss and Arkansas.

Well it would be sugar bowls most likely, and hell Cotton bowl is NYE 6 bowl now.

Is there 1 lsu fan that would not take a 66% increase in wins from 2021 to 2022 with Coach Nutt?

Honestly Nutt with LSU talent would be scary. The man can get his team up to beat anybody.

They also play down to teams as a consequence. That bit him at Ole Miss especially, but at Arkansas too.

With all the LSU talent he'd go 10-2+ every year and probably would win a title if he had 3 or 4 years to try.

He has only won one legit west title in his ninth year then lost three games in a row with one of the best backfields in SEC history.

The only thing Nutt would be good at for one year is collecting his check.

Nutt wouldn't win at any place. He is just too lazy.

Nutt is a good example of an underachiever who lacked the work ethic like Sam Pittman.

He's Sam Pittman with a giant ego; that's the difference.
