If you didn't know to go there, I can't imagine planning on popping into a bar near the stadium.

Second game of 2009 Omaha CWS against Texas. It was recorded 112 degrees in freakin' Omaha. People were camped out in the tunnels under the stands getting IVs and sucking down water or anything they could get. Texas pitcher shut us out.

I've been to the Swamp for midday games in Sept...it's hot as shite, just like any midday games in the SEC in Sept. I've sweated my arse off many times in Tiger Stadium and at SEC away games...
With that said, Kyle Field is on another level when it comes to heat. Anyone playing at Kyle during the day in September will find out.

Come on... you have to admit the Tide and Tiger was fun.
Of course. And a hundred other things about the game in B'ham were pretty awesome.
But it comes down to the fact that it just... wasn't... neutral. It wasn't. Not in butts in the seats, not in atmosphere, not in stadium workers/personnel, etc.
I think its kind of bad that a lot of Bama fans (not talking about you, Bella) don't remember that one of the PRIMARY REASONS that the Bama program is so great is that they REFUSED (back in the old "classic" days of college football) to be treated as a second-rate or with disrespect just because they were from the South. So they built their program up and demanded that damn respect from the "legendary" programs like Notre Dame, Penn State, USC, Michigan, etc. etc. And they got it.
And for those Bama fans that DO remember, its kind of a shame that they can't see the comparison of what they proudly did OUT of state "back in the day" is much like what Auburn had to do IN the state in the 1980's. We demanded our respect. And we got it.

2008 Ole Miss/Florida game in the Swamp. It was miserably hot. I was in the sunshine seats. Upper deck very top row. There wasn't even a small breeze blowing. I started yelling and jumping up and down after we won and almost passed out.
Water never tasted/felt so good after that game.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — This is no place to be playing, officiating or watching football in the middle of the afternoon on the second Saturday in September.
It is remarkable that Tennessee and UCLA performed as well as they did on a muggy day when the temperature on the artificial turf of Shields-Watkins Field at Neyland Stadium reached 112.

LSU vs. Texas A&M. It was in College Station and we played them in like '93 or '95. I can't remember.

The Swamp in 1999; felt like I'd been swimming at the end. We won it in OT because Florida missed an extra point.

Well the OP stated the hottest "SEC game" but since everyone has been off topic...here goes: the 1990 season opener in the Swamp against Oklahoma St...which came in overhyped...Spurriers first game and we whipped em 50-7.
It was an early 1pm game or some such and just plain ole hot...folks were dehydrated and falling like flies. The hottest game in the Swamp...ever.
As for SEC games...the year before (1989) we played Ole Miss in season opener in the Swamp and it was brutal. SEC teams should never start any games before 4pm until last week in Sept at least.
Gators play @ Kyle Field this year second game of the season...should be interesting....but there is no venue for heat (and crowd noise) like the Swamp...the playing field is 30 feet below street level and no wind.

LSU-TAMU Football in 1987 at Kyle Field. Hotter than hell.
