Was that when Kiffin and Meyer had their tiff? Cause that was awful.
The Swamp is miserably hot. During the 09 season, there was a game where a couple people in my section collapsed from the heat. People were going back and forth to the concession stand to get ice. The afternoon games are brutal.

LSU vs Florida 2007 was pretty hot as well. With USC announcement losing to Stanford and Jacob Hester's performance I did not mind.
Come to think of it, so were most games in Tiger Stadium for the 07 season

LSU-VTech was hot as hell too, even though it was cloudy for most of the day and rained before the game when that paratrooper did a faceplant on the field with the american flag

Why wouldn't they have been? B'ham is the site of the home office.

was/is that a bar near the stadium?

Legion Field was hot as hell. I remember vividly someone behind us passing out from a heat stroke and seeing them carried out.

Wrong. LSU-App State 2008 right before Rita hit. 10 AM. kickoff in the middle of August on about a 96 degree day and tons of humidity
Was at both games. The Tenn game was way worse IMO.

Yep... a little oasis of the Flora-Bama North, right in the middle of the projects, on gamedays.
