Lol doesn’t every school sing their school song after a game win or lose?
Also, if you’re letting a road team that just lost on your field “drown out” your home fans, then it sounds like your fans didn’t show up

As an alum of a major SEC program, I don’t think the atmosphere in SEC stadiums is anything like what it used to be back in its heyday.
Maybe that’s because tickets/parking/food have driven out blue collar folks. Maybe that’s owing to smartphones. Maybe it’s just folks in the stands realizing they’re watching minor league football. Whatever the reason(s), I’m hoping expansion will inject some of the old passion again.
