this is from the link in the other thread about him.. was this discussed in that thread?

As I recall it was not mentioned but the focus was squarely on the plunger and cousin.

This just make him a bisexual rapist though. It really doesn't have any impact on the shower situation after practices and games.

I'm sure you didn't mind these guys playing after this incident though..

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Auburn football players Deandre Green and Brandon Reed were charged after a handgun was fired to break up a fight at a fraternity concert.

Green is accused of firing the gun, and Reed is accused of having an unregistered firearm.

The concert Wednesday night was attended by about 300 people. No injuries were reported.

The two players were at Auburn City Jail on Thursday pending bail.
Are you kidding? The crime those two players were charged with is a misdemeanor and they were both suspended for at least one game.

The gumps have had about 20 or 25 players arrested by the police over the last 5 or 6 years. Most of those players received no punishment from gump coaches

The following quote shows a linebacker from Maryalnd named Pat Lazear was arrested by the police and charged with armed robbery. Despite those charges, the gumps still offered this kid a scholarship.

quote:

More than five months after he allegedly drove the getaway car in a felony robbery and three months after Whitman forced him to finish his junior year at home, Lazear, 17, has reclaimed his place in football's hierarchy. More than 20 Division I colleges have offered Lazear scholarships, and he will likely choose between Alabama and Ohio State. Coaches at Wheaton consider Lazear's arrival to be the luckiest incident in the team's recent history. Teammates voted Lazear captain, even though the Maryland judicial system forces him to wear a black ankle monitor so it can track his whereabouts.

Lazear will face armed robbery charges as an adult in a trial set for Nov. 29, but his football community has already rendered its own verdict: His guilt or innocence hardly matters, Wheaton players and coaches said. Lazear has transformed Wheaton into a playoff contender, and he will start on offense, defense and as the punter tonight in the season-opening game at Seneca Valley.

After his arrest, Lazear said he worried that colleges would rescind scholarship offers. North Carolina State stopped its recruitment, Lazear said, and a Notre Dame coach visited Whitman to tell him the school would no longer pursue him. But Lazear still receives frequent text messages from coaches at Alabama and Ohio State among others

Here is the link to the entire story about this kid.

Obviously I don't post here often, but CCTiger, quit trying to justify your stance. You are digging that hole significantly deeper with you bringing up how "awful" Alabama is. Both of your examples are WEAK. Devine took a car of his mentor. Big deal. Have you never taken your dad's car without him knowing? And the second story...the first line is...five months after he allegedly drove the getaway car.

You need better examples to compare them to raping your cousin...

that was alot of searching and copying. I guess your coach not only keeping players on a team after shooting off guns and then playing them during the season really burned you up to be digging this much. I guess we can call Auburn = .45 U

Hood said he was receiving serious interest from 27 schools at one point during his senior season. But as schools began to learn about his troubled past, that interest waned considerably. He said Ole Miss and Georgia Tech remained interested if he would agree to pay his own way during the fall semester and go on scholarship in January. Auburn was also offering a full ride, according to Hood.

Strong first post. Welcome.

BTW, what are your thoughts on your school giving this kid a scholly? You for it or against it?

now you've done and gone done it. Expect an onslaught of Auburn vs Knoxville cow ratio comparisons, elementary school grade evaluation comparisons and some obscure quote from a TN grad disparaging his University that has been dead for about 30 years. And expect to see all of this about 20 times, with a few copy and pastes.

Would I have signed him no but does he deserve to be punished the rest of his life no....he has a 3.8 gpa and a 27 act and everyone that has been in contact with him says he is a good young man so if Lane thinks he deserves a scholly then I support Lane.

Hell no, I have never taken my father's car without his permission. I don't what kind of parents you have, but my father would have beaten my arse black and blue if I took his car without permission. After he got through beating my arse, my father would have kicked my arse out on the street. I would have had to find a new place to live.

I could be wrong, but I believe Noel Devine was only 15 years old at the time he stole Deion Sanders car. He was not old enough to drive a car in the first place

quote:

the first line is...five months after he allegedly drove the getaway car.
Pat Lezear was also accused of stealing another person's credit card on top of being involved in an armed robbery. The judge assigned to his case seems to think the crimes he committed are pretty serious

quote:

But in his ruling, Judge Joseph A. Dugan Jr. said Lazear's track record contradicted that depiction. The judge referenced Lazear's previous offense -- the use of a stolen credit card to buy a $130 pair of sneakers in November 2004 -- and the ensuing 90 days of court supervision.

Ten months later, not only is that all forgotten, but you're involved in a robbery with a dangerous weapon," Dugan said while delivering his verdict.

"My take on the seriousness of the offense and your role in it weighs very heavily against you going to juvenile court. Good people do not do this. This is not 'boys will be boys

If Daniel Hood had scholarships offers from all of those schools, why is waiting until April or May to announce his commitment?

Auburn is in serious need of help on the offensive line, but I havent heard this kid's name mentioned on an Auburn message board in 5, 6, or 7 months. That seems kind of odd to me

no shite. If this rapist douche had an offer fromm anyone, UAB, J-State, whoever, he would've signed. The fact that he didn't do anything until May shows he only had one school willing to let him plunge his way into their student body.

Hood in Auburn Gear......
Your midget coach is one of the people who tried to recruit Noel Devine's thug arse a couple of years ago, so I am not sure you have much room to talk on this subject. Here is a quote that shows some of the things Noel Devine was doing during his high school career

quote:

Devine had moved in with Sanders and his family in Prosper, Texas, 18 months ago. A day before reporting for practice at Prosper High, he took the Cadillac Escalade of Sanders' wife, drove it to DFW Airport and flew back to Fort Myers.

Left the keys in the car. Nice guy.

"We were really in a state of shock," Sanders told the Fort Myers News-Press. "We couldn't believe it. I wish we saw a sign but there was nothing. ... Some people don't want to be helped."

Taking someone's car without their permission would normally be classified as grand theft auto, which is a felony. Luckily for Noel Devine, Deion Sanders did not press charges against him

Are you serious Clark?
u r r-e-a-c-h-i-n-g a little on that claim.

UT should not have offered the scholarship.

At a minimum, the kid should have to pay his own way and walk on somewhere. A second chance does not mean a clean slate. There should be consequences.

If I were you, I wouldnt worry about UT too much...

If I was a MSU fan, I would worry about that stench comming from Starkville

When was the last time MSU did anything anyway?

MSU is the Vandy of the west minus a degree actually worth something

What a dump starkville is
