Per BR Advocate

quote:

LSU’s football players’ lounge has a new name: the Mathieu Players’ Lounge.

quote:

Mathieu, a New Orleans native, joined his Tigers and Cardinals teammate, Patrick Peterson, in making a $1 million donation to the football program. LSU’s weight room is named after Peterson

Not statues but pretty cool.

Pretty funny that LSU is naming their players lounge after a notorious drug addict

I guess there won't be any smoke detectors in the players' lounge

And quite possibly the most electrifying defensive player the SEC has ever seen

It's ok though, BoarEd has made enough 1 year ban bets that at least one is bound to go in our favor. Prolly a welcher though.

Derrick Thomas has that distinction. Mathieu can be called one of the most electrifying DBs the SEC has ever seen, but DT was the most dominant defensive player this conference has ever seen.

I agree with this. Definitely one of, if not the most electrifying DBs to play in the SEC.

Lounge named after Honeybadger. Quite appropriate.
