I agree, and I think Les Miles is one of the luckiest sons of bitches ever. He's made a lot of very risky calls in the past but things seem to bounce his way far more often than not. What year was it that he beat Florida at the very end of the game with a really gutsy call? I only vaguely remember now, but I remember he made similarly ballsy and risky calls in other games that year and they all went his way.

Naturally, there's some skill involved in such calls, and you have to have your team prepared to deliver at such times, but there's also a major element of luck.

LSU has been winning in spite of Les Miles.

Half the coaches in the SEC could do a better job with that talent. Hell, Dabo could coach LSU better than Miles.

Quirky, crazy decisions aren't endearing, they're just stupid.

Spoken like a fan who is not used to winning and still doesn't realize how difficult it is to be elite every year.

OP is clearly mentally challenged but that doesn't change the fact that we don't need any Clemson fans throwing their 2 cents in. 5th place rings come in handy when used to continually punch your rival in the teeth. Four in a row, soon to be 5!

Agree, LSU's offense has not been good most of the season. LSU's probably has the best defense in college football though. They were on the field a long time last night and were still playing hard to the bitter end.

65-41-4 :lol

That 4 in a row just seems like a pillow punch in comparison.

We all should have seen this coming. They could have easily been 6-6 this year.. Lets think back to their close (lucky) wins this season. Beat AU by 2 points thanks to a safety. Beat Carolina by 2 points (got extremely lucky that game). Old Miss game, Ole Miss put up 34 of so points and would have won if not for a special teams TD. Finally the Arky game, again it took arkys rb fumbling on the 1 yard line a d missed arky field goals for them to win by a touchdown. LSU fans you all should have seen this coming. You are worse than your record. In reality you won't be this lucky next season, keep playing like that and 6-6 of 7-5 will become the norm.

This.

I'm not convinced this guy is a Carolina fan. He has talked more about Oregon ( Until they lost ) than he has Carolina. I was pulling for LSU last night and really wished that they won. It was a great game that was played hard and both teams are very good teams no matter how some people try to spin it. I do question Les passing on 2nd and 3rd and 2 instead of running out the clock. But it is what it is. Anyone who thinks that LSU losing to an 11-2 team makes them bad is just stupid. Now good luck to the rest of the SEC and GO Cocks!

Offensively we have sucked for years and a team with a great offense and crappy defense is really a bad match for us. Just like ole miss and Arkansas

I agree with a lot of that in there, but we beat SC by more than the score. Remember that pick returned to the 1 yard line by you guys? The only team we really really outplayed this year was SC.

Overall record is nice and I hope that helps you sleep at night. Glad your Dad's and Grandad's Tigers did real well against SC. Everyone in 2013 realizes that SC dominates Clemson in football this decade you know the one that doesn't run on the history channel. P.S. Clemson leads the overall baseball series also but the nation knows Clemson is just a stepping stone to SC winning Natties!

Was it me or did half the Lsu team get hurt all night long.

I was surprised... normally it's ACC teams that start dropping like flies late in the 3rd. I was surprised to see LSU's players dropping. Many situations where Clemson would have had to call a TO after a mid-field tackle, but didn't have to because another LSU defender was writhing on his back.

I swear, forget Les Miles play calling, if LSU players weren't dropping like flies, Clemson would have had to use up all of their timeouts and would not have been in a position to kick the win.
