Poor (literally) LSU.

Not that I know of, but I'm sure he will start a troll thread on it the minute it happens.

You're a classy gent.

The repeated actions of your alumni embarrass you.

We get it.

Even when they've had a QB, they don't do shite. What's your point?

Aggy had a returning Heisman QB fail to win 10 games

Deep down, this hurts them.

it seems that Tamu has been right on the cusp for a few years now.

2018: 9-4 (5-3)
2019: 8-5 (4-4)
2020: 9-1 (8-1)
2021: 8-4 (4-4)

That’s not on-the-cusp. Georgia was on the cusp. There is talent for aggy to be on the cusp, and incoming talent could be enough to kick the door in and make the CFP. But don’t be fooled, the Alabama win doesn’t mask losses to Miss State and LSU.

QB is the most important position, and it’s the glaring issue for aggy. Their QBs are all unproven. Your last natty title QBs?

Stetson
Mac
Burrow
Lawrence
Hurts/Tua
Deshaun
Coker
JT/Cardale
Winston

That’s a pretty damn good list. Stetson and Coker are probably the outliers, but Coker also had Henry to hand the ball to…

I know this may come as a surprise to the poster above, but A&M played their backup QB pretty much the whole season. Don’t lecture Ags about the importance of the QB position.

a qb away

Ask Mond and Calzada…

No. The implication is an elite qb away. Those two were nothing special. Like others have said, A&M would need a 2020 UGA type team to pull it off with faults in other areas.

LSU played their backup QB this whole season and was pretty rough…it’s why you recruit the position so deeply.

Bama needed a backup to secure a title win over Georgia. Ohio State used a backup the entire season of 2014, and a third stringer in the B1G title, Sugar Bowl, and Natty. UGa had to figure out who could win their QB battle.

Baker Mayfield?
Burrow?

Both backups at one point who never got the shot until they went elsewhere. You recruit depth.

Before this thread gets out of hand, Weigman is a future Heisman candidate. King is a string bean that will not make it through an entire SEC schedule without getting hurt and turns the ball over too much. Johnson is tough and has experience but has a noodle arm and holds onto the ball too long.

Best part of getting Max was also getting his brother.

They have the pieces but they have nothing proven at QB but they have alot of potential in the QB room.

If Weigman or King pan out, and I believe one of them will. They have the chance to do something special in the next couple years.

It's easy to frick with the Aggies on here, but if Jimbo doesn't do something with this group he's got in the next year or two. We will know he's the problem.

Zach had a few highlights, beat Bama, and otherwise delived offensive futility and incredibly painful results including losing to a gimped out, loser LSU squad.
