We are much better than MTSU. I don't have much more than that.

Mizzou will be playing MTSU this weekend. Hopefully will be similar to what Alabama did this past weekend.

LSU has left plenty of room for improvement in all facets of the game.

After dealing with all it's miscues last year but still playing FSU close, I was expecting a much stronger showing from my Tigers this year. Instead...they went backwards.

Elite … Should get a better test of the defense from SMU. I liked what I saw though we have a strong fast team this year especially on back end . Front end stopped run very good but didn’t get to qb because of lots of max blocking calls. I think we have a good group of guys just not elite . Some of the younger more talented guys showed out and will get more playi by time imo .

Offensively it was a flawless game. 90 percent completion percentage and the balls were thrown really well a good chunk . We have a stable of backs but Sawchuck didn’t play due to injury he’s our home run guy . Think we will rotate alot or backs all season. The wrs are a great group overall and made alot of contested grabs. As a group A plus … we don’t seem to have a 1st rounder but very happy with the group as a whole . Special teams were great with a punt return td ! Think we are a much much improved team who will fight for conference title again and hopefully can grow to compete with the top teams .

Ole Miss will finish in the top half of the SEC. Not sure how far yet after 1 game, but we're going to be ok.

SC has a lot of problems on the offensive line. A lot.

Rattler looked like an All-SEC QB, despite not having any time, his all-SEC WR, or a functional run game. But he won't last the season if he can't get protection.

I expect the team to improve over the year, and beat teams it shouldn't and lose to more teams it shouldn't. Typical SC 7-5, in other words.

How is this even possible? Most played warmup games. Glorified scrimmages where we start identifying our strengths and weaknesses.

College football actually takes about half a season to just get a fix on the peaking order.
