I’d say a solid job

This.

Plus he absolutely triggered the shite out of this board, almost as much as LeBron.

Ya Dan Lanning calls bye week work week and was on the field with the team every day ha. As every p5 coach I’d imagine ? I mean that seems like a low bar

I mean he took a program that won 1 game the previous season and has won 4 games so far with a decent chance for a 5th. That's pretty good.

Like you said, year #2 will giver us better insight.

I know there was a hiccup or 2(Halftime Stanford lead). I think he did a fairly good job considering what he walked into. He won 3 more games than last year and created a buzz around the program that hasn’t been seen since the early 90’s. I will be interested to see what they do against Utah and how year #2 goes for him. Thoughts?

They are in last place in the PAC12, the same place they were last year. They just happened to win 3 close games vs. OOC this year in the first 3 weeks of the year. DC's in PAC12 are not dumb and as more games are played, more film to breakdown, those opposing teams start to shut down that offense. Washington State was 4-6 when CU played them, the score was 56-14 WSU>CU.

The pregame speech at WSU was a joke, some guy there using the OT book of Judges story of Gideon's army all while dropping F bombs and having a DJ playing gangster rap music in the locker room before the speech.

100% sh*t show

Deion has always been about himself. He won’t take Colorado anywhere. He’s also wasting two very good players talents.

I see no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt re his week at his ranch. Do you really think he was studying film those 7 days?

Coach Prime’s first year

Went mostly as expected.

TCU was worse than expected so didn't think they'd win that game.

The rest went roughly as expected.

You are a master of the understatement. Name one SEC coach who lost a halftime lead of 29 points to a bad conference opponent AT HOME who wouldn't be crucified by everyone interested in college football. Hiccup? LOL!

Add to that a 42 point beatdown to a 4-6 Wazzu team riding a six game losing streak and barely hanging on to beat 5-6 TCU, 5-6 Colorado State and 3-8 Arizona state in their first year with a 33 year old head coach.

Prime's first year has been a huge flop and he's given opponents on the recruiting trail loads of ammo for why it would be a mistake to go to CU: Stanford choke, passing the ball 75% of the time when his own son is getting sacked more than anybody in the FBS, choosing to take the ball first in OT when winning the toss...twice. Who good does these things? NOBODY, not even crappy coaches.
