Aden Holloway has cleared one of the hurdles keeping the guard from taking the court for Alabama basketball once again. According to court documents obtained by AL.com, Holloway has asked for, and received, permission to leave the state of Alabama.
After he was arrested on felony drug charges last week, Holloway bonded out of jail. A condition of the bond was that he had to ask the court for permission if he wanted to leave the state.
A filing from his attorney states that Holloway plans on leaving Friday and returning Monday. Alabama is set to play Michigan on Friday night and would potentially play in the Elite Eight on Sunday in Chicago should it upset the top-seeded Wolverines.
Judge Joanne Jannick granted the request Friday morning.

No kidding.
It’s not like he willingly brought his gun for the murder of an innocent mother or anything…

To he honest, I don't know why the team would want him there.

You don't think the vast majority of judges in Fayette County have ties to UK? That's just kind of how it is when you have major universities with law schools and large graduate programs in a county.
Also, what specifically is your issue here? The guy is out on bond and is not a flight risk, so why are you concerned about him traveling out of state?

Because then they don't have to find a random plug in Chicago.
