We were told that Canada was the best to be all the SEC sidelines last year.
What happened there?
What happened there?

Lol. This is going to play out just like the HC search when LSU hired Orgeron.
Your fans will bombard tRant with grandiose proclamations about having the best OC:DC combo in football and posting your usual juvenile tripe about riding/scared/comingforyou etc.
And at the end, you will promote Steve Ensminger.
Never change LSU fans. Thanks for the entertainment.

The DL coach thinks he knows more about offense than Canada. His chance to prove it was the Troy loss. Now he is doubling down on stupidity an firing him. We will end up owing former LSU coaches more than what we are paying current coaches. What a shite show these bunch of coonasses have put on.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think Doug Nussmeier is available...

He knows the hook & ladder. That's more than O knows. Mrs. Davis is coaching the cheerleaders. That's always a plus

That's the model we run at LSU these days.
As best I can see that model consists of hiring a terrible head coach and trying to surround him with assistants that will make almost as much money as the head coach. The high paid coordinators have no respect for the inept head coach, and soon realize working for this idiot was a mistake and not worth the money.
That is one rock solid model LSU has there.

Meh don't get too excited. We were tournament bound and then Texas happened

A timeline of LSU’s offense, according to Ed Orgeron:
“We gonna get the best offensive coordinator and let them coach.”
“We couldn’t get our first choice but we got Matt Canada, a bright offensive mind, we gonna let him coach.”
“We gonna simplify things, and get back to playing LSU footbaw.”
“Yes I was trying to change the offense, but now I’ll let Canada coach.”
“Matt is a tremendous coordinator and if he pursues a head coaching opportunity, we wish him the best.”
“We’re gonna do what I want. Im the head coach.”

And his wife was a former New Orleans cheerleader. Would fit right in.
