Why are you trying to diminish the accomplishments of the greatest coach the SEC has ever seen in baseball? What’s your point?
Tony V is a helluva coach. I like him. He’s done an absolutely amazing job at Tennessee. He might just accomplish as much as Skip did. We will just have to wait 15 years or so to find out.
Theres no reason to be a jackass and go above and beyond to try to tear down what a great man built.

Sad, but typical, that vols have to attempt to tear down the GOAT in college baseball to build up their own program. Safe to state that neither Skip or Polk was suspended, by the SEC, for bumping an umpire or had a player kicked out of the game for cursing out an umpire to his face. Class, pure class. And, oh, yea. Skip's teams played in a real ball park ,not a T ball, biddy ball park.

Polk never won a title, but both of them are the Goats. Tony V will have to this until his 70's to be in the conversation.
