To all of you rocket scientist, steepness does not equal height.

I could'nt tell which stadium it is but I do know that the last row on the endzone upper deck in Bryant-Denny is even with or above the lights. During a night game you almost feel like you are watching the game from the blimp sitting up there in the dark.

It is the upper deck at Tiger Stadium. You really cannot get any further away from the field, its miserable

The 3rd deck on Sanford Stadium at UGA is the worst. You don't even feel like you're in the building. It doesn't look as high from the outside, but you have to take into account that the stadium is set into the ground.

I knew this was kind of a silly thread but I thought if we got some firm numers someone or two or more could take pride knowing they sit higher than anyone else in the SEC.

What a dumb State fan, but I understand you probably have never left Mississippi. I don't know if Neyland has the steepest point nor is it really that important, but to say its not Tennessee and be adamantly sure about it is quite frankly dumb. FWIW I went to the State Florida game and sat in the second to the top row, and it isn't even close to as high as being in the top row at neyland.

it has to be tennessee

not even close

LSU is much taller.
The height of Tiger Stadium's upper decks is ridiculous.

tiger stadium has to be taller than Bryant Denny. They both seat the same capacity, but BD has an upper deck in an endzone and Tiger Stadium does not.

Yeah, the subjective experience can easily deceive, so I don't think you should trust that too much. How many seats do y'all think Tiger Stadium would hold if the upper deck fully enclosed the bowl?

Highest Seat from Field Level in the SEC?
Just wondering which SEC stadium's seat was highest from its field level. Anyone know?

I ain't been to many SEC football venues. Actually, jess Tiger Stadium & Bryant-Denny. In the early '80s, I sat in the last row of the new addition, for Bama-LSU moved up to kick off the season. I discovered what the top of the Goodrich blimp looks like.
