tOSU is easily the top program up north.

Of course, northern football has sucked for quite awhile now....

It's like bragging about LSU's hockey team, which is kicking arse as well, but we don't flaunt their greatness.

Get it?

Well, it depends on what you're looking for. Wisconsin finished in the AP top 10 in 2011, but not the Coaches. Michigan finished in the top 10 Coaches but not the AP. I'm not sure if either finished in the top 10 BCS (Wisky was 10 at the end of the regular season, at least.)

Or maybe it is that same freaking idiot with a 10 or 15 IQ and a GPA of .09 in his remedial drug rehab class. Why don't you go play with your numbers on an active runway...

Sigh. Chill. People are giving you factual information about the question you're asking. The best I can give you is that they haven't played a team that was ranked in the top 10 at the time the game was played since they lost to USC in 2009. That only includes the regular season, of course. Will that satisfy you?

We can't count this year because we don't know how the rankings will finish.

Last top-25 team: #24 Michigan (26-21), November 24th, 2012

Last top-20/15/10 team: #10 Wisconsin (33-29), October 29th, 2011

Last top-5 team: #2 Miami (FL) (31-24), January 3rd, 2003

Don't bother expending effort chasing answers to a question he doesn't understand and is going to change every time you reply.

If you want "at the time"...

Last top-25/20 team: #16 Northwestern (40-30), October 5th, 2013

Last top-15 team: #15 Wisconsin (33-29), October 29th, 2011

Last top-10 team: #8 Arkansas* (31-26), January 4th, 2011

Last top-5 team: #2 Michigan (42-39), November 18th, 2006

Last #1 team: #1 Miami (FL) (31-24), January 3rd, 2003

(*: win expunged from records due to sanctions; refer to subsequent category for last top-10 win)

Not being critical, just curious but how did you look that up?
Seemed pretty quick.

Is there some kind of aggregation site? Surely you didn't look through each year manually.

I did. It's pretty quick to flip through each season on ESPN and compare their rankings. ESPN also includes the rankings at the time in the schedule back to a certain point; I only had to look up 2006 Michigan (*and I guess 2002/03 Miami (FL), but I did that on the first set), and that was only to get the number (I remembered they were top-5, didn't think they were #2 though).
