As a native and lifelong resident of Conway, CCU has a gorgeous campus and is close enough to the beach for it to be a pretty good college experience. Not to mention, Conway is a pretty Southern town that is a world away from Myrtle Beach. And CCU was a branch of University of South Carolina until the early 1990's, so it's got that going for it.
