Not sexist at all, but I don't like playing with women much. Well, I've never played with really good women players. I've hit a couple of women pretty hard during doubles. Made me feel bad. I feel like I have to take a little off my swing with them. I don't like that.

driving from Atlanta to Bham sucks. It's really bad once you get to Oxford. There is a lot of construction and 55 mph zones for 60 miles. There's been some construction work near Carrollton, Ga too.
ETA: seems like the speed limit drops down to 55 mph near the Alabama / Georgia border. I know a truck hit a pothole in the road two years ago near the border and the tire sent a rock flying into the windshield of the car behind it killing the passenger. They lowered the speed limit after that.

I know the Atlanta B'ham drive very well, I lived in B'ham for 7 yrs. Thanks for letting me know there is construction going on.
I have never driven to Auburn though, and I wanted an idea of driving times for travel arrangements.

I play with men all the time, and they show no mercy lol. I do Saturday morning mixed drills (well used to

If you are in Atlanta and want to go straight to Auburn, depending on where you are in the Atl it can take anywhere from about 90 minutes to about 2.5 hours. I grew up (and my mom still lives) inside the city limits and it takes about an hour 45 to 2 hours depending on traffic to get from her house to the AU campus. If you fly into Atl and stay down by the airport, you will cut a good 20 minutes or so off that time - just a straight shot down 85.
Traffic Auburn to Birmingham...most direct route is US 280, I think it can get pretty hectic on gamedays and you end up going through some small towns (or you used to) so you deal with lights and such.
Other option AU to Bham would be 85 to Montgomery/65 to the Ham. Traffic south to Monkeytown wouldn't be bad once you hit the interstate, but traffic through Chilton County and on north could get heavy.

I have no choice, I have to be in B'ham Monday at 7:15AM. I'm thinking of flying to Atlanta Saturday morning, and then driving to Auburn that day. I guess I have to wait until Monday to know when is this game going to start :(
