Waste of roster space and waste of money considering you would have to pay him league minimum, which would be higher then most would thinker since he would be considered a veteran.

capable as in not a complete waste of a roster space.

that would be determined by the teams, not him.

Also, it's pretty clear a lot of people didn't watch the video. The radio host said "and it looks pretty clear you can still play" to which herschel made his comments.

It's not like he held a press conference and said "Hey everyone, I'm comign back to the NFL". It was a radio show and he indulged them. That doesn't mean it's something he's going to do...because he won't.

Well, unlike Herschel he isn't acting like an Uncle Rico and trying to relive the glory days.

Herschel only rushed for over a thousand yards twice in ten years during his original NFL career. Anybody who remembers how mediocre he was in the NFL the first time knows he isn't coming back

he was far from mediocre but whatever. What's also lost on tards like you is that the prime of his professional career was spent in the USFL which folded so his stats don't count. Do you realize that if you count his APY from his "PROFESSIONAL" football career he has over 3500 more yards than walter payton? Of course you don't.

It's just not a good idea. Saying he could do it sure, actually doing it. Please don't Hersh

I agree. He is a freak of nature and if anybody could, I think he could. Unfortunately, I don't think anybody could. Not even Herschel. I would hate to see him get hurt badly.

Did you know he was 42 all time in total yards in the NFL and less than 3,000 yards from being in the top 10 all time? Put him in the NFL during those USFL years and he could have finished in top 5. I would say that's a pretty solid career.

I feel 10000% confident in saying that Herschel's body, at 53, is in better shape than yours would ever or could ever even hope to be.

Looks at him in his MMA fights. Dude is in constant beast mode.

The Herschel Walker body weight only and one meal a day plan is so retarded and its laughable that people actually believe that shite. So you are saying with him only taking in about 10g of potein a day he built muscle like that by only using body weight. Genetics or not IT IS PYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to build that kind of muscle with so little protein intake.. He is either lying like hell about his workout/diet plan or is juicing like crazy. Probably both.

The fact that this BS is being taken seriously by any of the morons on this board is quite laughable.

If it were anyone else, it would be totally ridiculous. Herschel is a different story. He's just physically better than anyone I've ever seen. Don't mean talent or skills, mean the body. He's fricking Hercules.

that would be pretty stupid, but a scrub team like titans falcons or the saints would probably take him just for the fanfare/$$$$$ they need it

I remember how excited I was when the cowboys traded him, and that was before I realized what a great deal we got for a has been/never was in the NFL

He has strength and probably some straight line speed, but there is no way in hell he could cut, absorb hits, or have the vision of even a seasoned 35 year old NFL HB (and that does not even exist). It would literally be unethical for an NFL team to put him though a single contact practice.

I love Herschel, but the bogus 40 times have reached pandemic levels. High schoolers, college freshman, and Herschel all "run 4.3" but then somehow at the nfl combine there are about two guys per year that actually go 4.30. Funny how that works.
