It all comes down to the mighty dollar. Whoever offers up the most money gets to host the tournament. Hell, if Bangor Main wanted the sec tournament and put up the most money then they would be hosting. It's not about the fans or fairness to the teams, the $ rules.

St. Louis is pretty close to West, TN though. The last time we played there we had plenty of fans attend. UK's BBN always travels well. It's a PITA to travel if you're located where the schools are tho.

Honestly I think Nashville and Atlanta should be the hosts for most SEC tourney/championship events. Nashville may have an SEC school in it but it's by no means a city that biases itself towards Vanderbilt and gives them a home at advantage. If anything Vanderbilt at home is a neutral court game for many SEC teams. They're in the same position as Tech is - play them in ATL and SEC teams are still going to bring more fans.

When you look at total miles traveled/average miles traveled per team, there isn't much difference between Atlanta, Nashville and Memphis. Those should be the three locations in rotation IMHO.

The downside to Nashville is there is already a SEC school there. But other than that Nashville is coool.

They have like 14 fans and they suck again.

Keep it in Nashville.

Kentucky hasn't played yet so it sounds like every other year.

Look, 99% of people agree. But im hugely in favor of 4 years in Nashville, 1 year elsewhere. Keeping it at the same place gets boring after so long.

I like it rotating, even yearly, but keep it somewhere in SEC footprint. That's your problem. Also, UK isn't very good, which is the single biggest attendance factor.

talked to a handful ok UK fans yesterday. Most agreed there was a larger than normal UK crowd for a Wednesday/Thursday.

And for whatever reason, I though bama would travel better. Pretty poor amount. Seen more state fams than Alabama fans.
