Time to put a hold on the madness…

Disagree. Speed it up. It's all gonna result into 2 power conferences, big 10/SEC. Likely somewhere around 48 schools involved, split into 2 conferences, 4 divisions apiece with more games and a playoff of 12-16 teams either 1 grouping per conference then meet in the championship or seed them all and play it out. NFL, the college version. It's happening so let's get to it. Of course this would bring about the delightful news of those 2 conferences telling the NCAA to shove their governing body back up their asses where it belongs. Universities are money shills so I'm sure one of the tv or shoe companies can arrange licensing deals for them to carry the names. Basketball, baseball and title 9 sports will have to remain status qou or figure it out for themselves. Money always wins out and football has footed the bills long enough without wanting more for themselves. Particularly when traditional sex guidelines are blurred. Paying for women in particular, when women can't agree what a woman is, is retarded.

PAC can add:
Relatively good options:
-SDSU
-Colorado State
-Air Force
-Boise State

A step down but you can squint and see how this works maybe
-UNLV
-Utah State
-San Jose State

Just round this thing out:
-Nevada
-Fresno State
-Wyoming

Good luck in FCS
Hawaii and New Mexico

San Diego State (low key solid add)
Boise State
Air Force
Colorado State
UNLV (Vegas is the future)
Fresno State

Throw Gonzaga in as a non football school and the Pac will remain the fifth conference.

ACC needs to go ahead and get Notre Dame to commit in all sports. Maybe pick up one other school like a Georgia Southern or Appalachian State.

Half share is more than they are getting now and exponentially more than if they stay.

That's my point. The B1G could take them to grow their league without having to pay them much. Might be worth it?

Fun Fact, those four PAC teams have more Claimed National Titles that those sixteen Big12 teams combined.

PAC - 7
Big12 - 5 (6 if you include UCF printing their own banner)

I can't wait to see the tiebreaker in the Big 10, it'll have to be two pages long to see who gets in their championship game to decide who the automatic qualifier.

Why would the Big 10 want Stanford and Cal? They don't add revenue.

To entice Notre Dame to join and enhance the academic credentials of the conference

Three 24 team “super conferences” looks like a very real possibility

That leaves 22 spots open - Jet already mentioned travel costs for USC/UCLA

If the B1G adds: Stanford, GA Tech & Boston College, they lock down great academic schools and essentially have most of Notre Dame’s “traditional rivals” (sans Navy)

That leave room for Cal and 1 more, probably Pitt or Virginia

SEC cherry picks the rest of the ACC and the Big 12 takes the rest of the Pac and fills in from there - that also leave room for either the academies, or Rice/Tulane etc…

The remaining teams from the pac12 should join the Acc and call it the AccPac conference...
