If you're doing geography & pods, THIS is the setup!!!

Here's how I'd map the SEC's pods
Mountain pod and gulf pod aren't going to work.
How so?

Too imbalanced
One of the Mountain Pod teams needs to be switched with one of the Gulf Pod teams

Here's how I'd map the SEC's pods
This works with me, but -
Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vandy
&
Florida, Georgia, USC, UK
Just makes more sense
& removes DSOR. No thank you.

That's pretty good

If we go to a pod alignment, Bama is going to be with Auburn and Tennessee. Period.
& Georgia's gonna be with Auburn & Florida.

That is how it will be.

Yeah I think that one makes the most sense as well

Bama, Florida, and Georgia in the same pod as Auburn
Let’s do it.

Let’s do it.

True. Difficult to 1) balance power, 2) preserve geography and 3) retain rivalries.

I think this is the best attempt to balance power and preserve geography:
Florida and LSU in the same pod? That's not very geographic. Alabama needs to be with either Georgia or Florida. Alabama without that is going to cake walk through their pod.

You kept Auburn/Alabama.....but split TN/Vandy & Miss./MSU???

Both are pretty far south

Can't you still do a permanent matchup with a team not in the pod?

Because the mountain pod is significantly weaker than the gulf pod.
Bama, auburn, Georgia, and Florida is a ridiculous pod. That's super powered.

I want it tho to laugh at Auburn

Exactly- this is why you can't set it up like this. You can't put 4 historic powers all in 1 pod.

The one the SEC network posted is by far the best and most balanced
LSU/A&M/Ole Miss/Moo State
Texas/Okie/Arky/Missou
Bama/Aubie/Tenner/Vandy
Florida/Georgia/Kentucky/South Carolina
2 good teams 2 also rans in each pod
