Well when the violent thug then goes psychotic and punches 3-4 people in a bar it certainly makes the "rumor" about the D Craig fight much more believable.

Duke was already known for punching people (not coaches) and hence when the Craig thing happened our message boards all began to wildly speculate. Obviously that turned out not to be the case. This latest incident indicates why he shouldn't have survived the prior behavioral stuff, but it doesn't add any credibility to an already-debunked rumor.

Auburn has historically, for whatever reason, been unable to sustain any sort of elite success for any period of time. No back to back 10 win seasons in 25 years and it only ever happened one time.
They're erratic as hell, capable of swinging up to top 5 elite status or dumpster fire embarrassment year to year.
