When he said she assaulted him, they should have taken him as seriously as they were taking her. When they arrived, this was a simple trespassing. No actual laws had been broken at that point. There are tens if not hundreds of thousands of incidences when the person trying to trespass someone else is in the wrong. There are videos of it all over youtube, tiktok, and facebook.

This - so much this. He was talking about her doing something with his kids. The officers should have listened to him, and that alone would have calmed him down. Had they even acted like they wanted to hear what the guy wanted to say - this wouldn't have happened. Now - the idiot should have listened to what he was told and went out to argue his case. The I'm going to kill a cop comment earned him an arse whoopin'. Both sides are so wrong in this deal. The black cop needs to not be a cop - the N word set him off. He needs to have thicker skin. Police officers are held to a higher standard for a reason, this was a failure there!
