At least we've still got Erin Andrews.
Not after the way she eye-fricked the shite out of Trent Richardson in the PSU interview.

At the PSU game, my son and I were walking up to the stadium on the walk of champions just as Herby came out of his trailer to make his way to the booth. He passed right by us and there were more than a handful of people that started yelling shite at him. It was uncomfortable, and I can understand a lack of fondness for Alabama on his part after that.

I like Herbie and in years past he has liked us.

If you have not noticed yet, the ESPN Gameday guys don't really make their own picks. Herbie almost admitted that on Finebaum a few weeks ago. They are "pressured" by marketing people with ESPN to assume certain "roles" each season. Notice this year, Herbie is always hyping the underdogs.....the Boise St, TCU, Auburn to win the West types and then Corso trashes Boise and raves about Alabama. It make the show more fun.

agree

you've got one guy putting on mascot heads - it's a show more than a news program

Herbstreit had Bama on upset alert every week of the season last year. He's schit is growing old because all he ever does is pick against the number 1 team at the time (he did it to Florida in '08).

FWIW I think Bama loses 1 of the next 2.

that's part of the show - if you can't convince some viewers the favorite will lose there's no reason for them to watch

Relax, Bama all the way. Fla. is not as good as last year.

He cant win. He has to pick a winner in the game. Thats his freaking job.

IMO goes way out of the way to suck off the SEC. Of course he's an Ohio State guy but picking tOSU to win over Florida in the NCG was not a homer pick. Ohio State was #1 and had a great team that year, Florida just whipped us that day.

Who knows when it comes to a big game? One team can step it up and the other just not play well. Who would have predicted that beating Florida took against that Nebraska team?

Predictions are as worthless as those who make them.

I like the pick of Florida. It shows me that at least he's thinking about it instead of just picking Alabama because they are ranked No. 1 and won the title last year.

So anybody that picks Bama hasn't thought about it?

Damn it! I was hoping Florida would win. Herbsteit always picks wrong. He is a typical blond airhead. He picked WVU to beat us last week. I guess Bama rolls this week.

I don't think Herby has anything against Bama, but he certainly doesn't think that highly of this team. Picking Florida to beat us is one thing but didn't he pick Auburn to also?

I agree with this. I remember before I found this board I would slog through tidefans from time to time and that's all everyone talked about. Its completely absurd.

Not really, but sorta.

Just said he thought we'd win the west. Whether that's by ya'll losing to UF, USC and LSU, only he knows.
