Most Auburn fans honestly didn't like him before now. I question how much talent he had to work with. The two tackles transferred from other schools. The right tackle was considered a bust at Texas before transferring to Auburn

Auburn stole him from Penn State. Most of their fans didn't like him either

we have an oline coach..he strictly an analysist roll..dont get to far ahead of yourselves auburn fans..b smith sucked arse and couldnt start for texas.so he went to auburn and did really well..hell look at kevin steele..he sucked arse everywhere he went. then magically he turned into a good coach at auburn? things change.
