I hate that the media does this, just because you're the best player on the best team does not mean you should in contention for the Heisman. Yeah I think Deshaun Watson is a really good player but in no should he be considered for Heisman.

runs straight up, easy to tackle, not shifty. He's big and fast and gets his yardage when the Bama line blows open holes big enough to drive a truck through.

He leads the conference in yards after contact. I wonder how good he'd be if he wasn't so easy to tackle.

Tom Fornelli, who wrote this article, doesn't like Alabama.
Just Google some of his articles.

Have to admit, Henry improved this season. Last year watching him he went down really easy with arm tackles. He obviously upped his game this year.

You must not have watched him play. This may have been a legitimate argument for the O lines Ingram and Richardson ran behind, even Lacy. Not so with Henry, whose yards after contact are incredible.

2 of their voters have him 5th?

If those morons have actual votes they cast in the heisman, that would need to be the last votes they ever cast.

Here's the thing...not only did Fornelli and the other asswipe vote Henry fifth, three had Henry first and one had him second. If the two morons had just voted Henry 3rd, Henry would have placed first in their "poll". Hell, the real Heisman ballots...and every reputable mock poll...only allows voters to rank 3.

Instead, they create a headline saying "Deshaun Watson leads..." It should come with a disclaimer "...but Patterson and I are clueless morons."

McCaffrey finally got some real screen time the last two weeks, and the Stanford/Notre Dame game was pretty damn good. The SEC wasn't as big a deal as it usually is these last two weeks. Probably had something to do with it.

Not shocking, he's been good but not great- frankly he was at best the 2nd best back we saw this year- ahead of Cook but clearly behind Fournette.

It's funny that he cited Henry's relatively lower ypc and high carry-load as reasons for voting him 5th, yet Henry still averages more ypc than the other Heisman finalist RB.

I keep seeing this quoted, does anyone have a source? I believe it's correct but I wanted to compare some of the other backs this year - cook, Elliot, McCaffrey etc.

Watson threw for 3500+ yards, 30 tds, & ran for 887 yds & 11 tds. Had 7 recievers with more than 20 receptions. Not saying he should win the Heisman but he's deserving of the opportunity.
