He threw for 480 yards against Oregon LOL. It's not his fault Kerry Coombs is incompetent.

It has gotten kind of boring be a QB award. Last RB was Henry. When was the last defensive player? The year Suh didn’t win it was robbery.

Well neither a QB or RB won it last year...

Beat bama and corral will be right there

This. His #s will be Heisman worthy. If he can get a marquee win vs Bama AND be the 1st Ole Miss QB to lead the team to 10+ regular season wins, he will be in the conversation

Correct. But it was a QB that was getting him the ball. I guess I should rephrase and call it an offensive award with emphasis on the QB.

I stand corrected.

Probably a great value buy right now. It's not likely, but if he returns and balls out, he'd shoot up the list

1. Young, Alabama QB +350

I put $20 on him at +900 right after the last TD of the first half vs. Miami. Started dropping after halftime.

Young has more big games left than any of those yahoos but the toughest for him, fl and Auburn, are on the road against good defenses in places that can be very hostile. We will see how the young man does starting Saturday.

It could be decided Oct. 2. If both are undefeated, he and Corral may have a real shootout.

I know y’all will say this is dumb, and I agree it’s highly unlikely. But I look at the State schedule, with biased and optimistic eyes, and see a path to a great season, with many of the perennial powers in the west being down or going through transitions and our crossover opponents being Vandy and KY. And Leach’s offense ALWAYS produces stupid stats for the QB.

If unlikely but highly possible things happen, we could be talking about Will Rogers before this season is over.

Good point Leto. I actually like Corral. He’ll have huge numbers and could have the biggest moment if they can beat Bama.

IF?

I love how they force this shite on us early and don’t hold them accountable in early games… all they need is that “heisman moment” near the end of the season and POOF all the media pushes the shite out of them.
