That doesn't sound like retirement. It sounds like a demotion because Lsu's offense is ranked 80th per OFEI.

Had two returning starters and one was the right tackle, one was our #3 receiver from last year who didn't play every game.

Lost the starting quarterback after game 3.

It was pretty good all things considered.

How the turntables....

Y’all reload. The OL has plenty of reps just we’re starters. Some of the back ups were just as good if not better. All offseason. Did you forget?

I never said any of that.

Every fanbase has idiots, sorry that you believe them?

That was 99% of LSU’s fanbase. You calling them idiots. Go look at the preseason predictions and tell me I’m wrong.

They sure do. You just have more than your fair share. Even the coach is an idiot. How's the new OC/DC/groundskeeper search going?

After last year and a strong offensive showing this year, the guy deserves a good send off. After the tragedy during the playoffs, I get why he might want to step away.

You do realize most of those people were just trolling right? If you look at most of the reasonable posters here, they predicted at least 2-3 losses which would've been very attainable if Pelini doesn't have a historically bad defense.

There isn't a person here who expected LSU's defense to be that bad.

Those predictions were also made before most of the Covid opt outs and the starting quarterback got injured.

Dude just wants to enjoy his life and family. He's a great Tiger and I understand his decision. Everyone isn't built to be a lifetime football coach.

Including your head coach according to Ole Miss and USC.

Great coach, but given their current situation the idea of LSU hiring a guy with a 2 year NCAA show-cause in his very recent history doesn't seem like a well thought out plan.

What will LSU do without the mastermind of the 2019 National Championship offense?

This is horrible news. Ensminger is truly a brilliant offensive innovator. What he did with Joe Burrow last year was unbelievable.

I feel like I've addressed that already.

You're just spinning in circles, Farmer.
