a&m melts can never top lsu melts. i'll never forget the first night the committee came out with their picks. that was so sad and pathetic that it was hilarious.

We don't emotionally latch onto our coaches with the same vigor as other SEC fans.
Just an observation.
Personally, I couldn't care less if he leaves; we'd hire someone else.

Me too. Sumlin would instantly turn into the biggest lame duck in the SEC since John L was coaching.

There were always stories around LSU fans that Chavis' family never left Tenn, so this mite well be a returning home for him. Either way, he never left campus to recruit here at LSU, same apparently at A&M, so as long as Jones can make up for one less body on the recruiting trail, this may well happen. Or may not. Depends on what his lawyers tell him.
