He said that he's happy that any and all pressure is off of him so he can get back to playing Pokemon.

Skip Holtz coaches at USF. Which is still larger than Ole Miss.

Simplistic thoughts coming from a simpleton. How shocking...

What does a school's enrollment have to do with the desirability of the school's head football coaching gig? So what USF is a bigger school than Ole Miss. shite, it's a bigger school than LSU. Does that make the USF job better than the LSU job?

None of the three are a Notre Dame.

None of the three are better than the other for getting to a Notre Dame...

how many acers you farming Deltaland?

9600 acres of catfish ponds and 23,000 acres of rowcrops… all beans, corn, and cotton.

That wasn't a picture off our farm that i posted either

It would take forever to subsoil with something that small on that much land.

Good point.

I was more criticizing his line of thinking than anything though, Skip Holtz aside.

Exactly, if I were a coach I would much rather coach at a mid to lower tier SEC school than a above average mid major. Do well at schools like OM or State for 5 years and move on to an elite job.

I would just think that if a coach had a chance to come coach in the best division in the best conference in america with solid football facilities and a fanbase that is hungry for a winner that he would strongly consider it. Granted, Tampa/St Pete is badass.

Too much risk/reward.

Jim Leavitt built USF from the ground up. He didn't leave USF (before being fired) because of a lack of interest from "higher profile jobs" instead from wanting to stay with what he built.

I'm not sure what he is doing now, but if you want to talk about a "serious candidate with a troubled past" I would be more interested in Leavitt than Leech...
