I don't hate Auburn as much as other Alabama fans do but I don't consider them to be on the same level as the other top SEC programs. For me Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and LSU are elite, Arkansas and Auburn just below that, South Carolina and Ole Miss are on the third tier and Kentucky, Mississippi State and Vandy are the dregs of the conference.

well Texas became Iowa State, Baylor, and UCLA's bitch. so they're not the Big 2 of the Big 12 conference anymore. in fact they're the bottom 2.

Ya'll could go winless in the SEC this year...that puts you in the same category as Vandy and Col. Reb who is crying.

Good point Lobby, I retract my previous statement.

And yes, Melky being released has been the highlight of my fall so far.

THIS IS ALL BESIDES THE POINT...the point of this thread is debate as to whether or not we should rename the conference to remind the Arkansas's of the world who they are or if this would hurt their feelings to badl

No, don't think they need to be reminded. It's not like they are claiming upper tier.

Well, Bama was AU's little brother from 2002-2007.

You can win an SEC championship when you're the little brother?

I'm on my phone so I can't make a fancy little spreadsheet, so this will have to do...

Overall winning percentage, 2010
Alabama .875
Tennessee .250

SEC Winning Percentage, 2010
Alabama .800
Tennessee (enter Price is Right losing horn)

So with comparing Tennessee and Alabama, they should change the name of the conference based on this year? And change it next season when different teams have good seasons? Thread of the year my man, thread of the year.

That's because the NCAA has literally taken away like 50 wins from Alabama. On the field, they have close to 600 wins in the AP era which would make them second only to Oklahoma.

Listen little bro, this thread really shouldn't involve you because it's a debate among the big boys about whether to tell it like it is with you gnats or to not hurt your feelings

There was still a period where you were... just saying that it cycles. I think you will remain on top from here on out, though.

Irrelevant...same as Nutt winning 3 in a row against LSU, 2 at Ole Miss. It doesnt mean Ole Miss is a better program than LSU, just means the Miles sucks and cant beat Nutt
