I believe him over you or HBO. Just because they contacted the school doesn't mean they contacted him. Why would he lie about being contacted? He was pretty straight forward through the whole Newton saga.

Not complaining about that. Chizik just said he thinks it is pathetic that they only aired players who said they got paid when there were players who said they didn't.

The subject topic is.. Chiz lied about being contacted. HBO disputes that completely. Chiz is a big fat nontruth teller. Can't believe anything from the plains ever again.

That would be a legit argument if HBO didn't interview guys from other schools that said they didn't get paid.

True, but Chizik said HBO did not make an attempt to contact him.
HBO is saying they contacted the SID and got a no comment. I guess you can deduce that since HBO didn't expressly say they attempted to contact Chizik, he's right.
But his statement is a bit disingenuous when the school's SID office was contacted.
